Facebook for Business


You will find that Facebook Groups are most effective when organizing on a personal level, or if you are interacting around a cause on a smaller scale. Facebook has a limit on how many friends you can have (5,000 at this point), when using groups.

Individual Pages are much for efficient if you are a business, a band, have a film to promote or if you are a celebrity seeking to connect with your fans or customers. This allows everyone to follow you without having to be connected to a personal account.

Keep in mind that not only do Groups and Pages have an overlapping feature set, but Facebook continues to make changes to how Pages function, complicating the matter even further. The idea is to focus on the most flexible option for your business. You will want to measure success at some point, without limitations.
